Located in a rural setting less than 10 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway north of Ft. Worth, Ski Haven is acclaimed by many to be the premier tournament waterski site in the region. Celebrating its 14th anniversary this year of skiing excellence, it is situated as a dual lake configuration in an east-west orientation, with 26 acres of surface. The lake design minimizes backwash due to 10 to one slope ratios.
The site is bordered on one side by a row of trendy homes and is equipped with easily accessible water, limited trailer hookups, electricity, boathouse, pavillion and more.
There are two record capable slalom courses, jump and trick. It is the host to 3 USA Waterski sanctioned tournaments this year and has held many successful Record tournaments in the past.
Practice is available during the week & on weekends for $25 per set, first come, first served, no guarantee. Call or e-mail if you would like to discuss a reservation to ski , or to rent one or both of the lakes. Ski Haven operates a 2004 and 2006 Ski Nautique with Perfect Pass Pro, ABT for practice. Skiers must be USA Waterski members and be self-insured.
Directions: From Dallas: Take 635 (LBJ Freeway) west to DFW Airport, then hwy 114 west to the Texas Motor Speedway. Continue for 1 mile and take hwy 156 north to Justin. Turn Left on hwy 407 West for 4.5 miles, turn north on B.Judge Lane - go 1 mile to the entrance. Driving time from north Dallas/LBJ freeway is 55 minutes.
From Ft. Worth: Take I-35W north to Hwy 114 exit/Texas Motor Speedway. Turn left & follow above directions.
